From a subjective point of view, the things that went "wrong" were inconsistent framerates and fluctuating art styles, the animation itself wasn't bad, it just seemed like too much attention was focused on some details but on the others it was severely lacking. And I understand Izune is a tiny animation company, I'm not trying to say me as one high school student can do better. The way it went "wrong" was with how it was under budget and Misty himself kept imposing due dates that the team couldn't meet.

And I do agree with you on Michelle's death being sloppy, it's usually one of the most prominent scenes in cringe and meme compilations.

Before I go and remake the whole thing in how I think it should have happened, I really wanted some info from the inside, and you have helped me with this, so thank you xD I never meant any offense, and in 10 months I think the team did a great job in some aspects with the time they had, but others were lacking and people find it funny to poke holes in other people's hard work. My remake was more intended to bridge the gap of meme and webseries, and because I saw some things I would never do in an animation and how they could be easily fixed, and a way for me to do a big project and 'get out there' by paying tribute to something I loved. The concept was there, and that's why I went from initially hating it to wanting to make a fan version of it now ^-^
